Nira Rock: Directions from the Green line

Take the E train to the Heath Street stop.
Turn left as you exit the train doors, and immediately bear right onto Heath Street.
Walk up Heath Street for a short distance, and turn right into a small path just before the parking lot in front of the school. (The path heads downhill under an elevated, enclosed footbridge.) Follow the path under the footbridge. The path will exit onto Jefferson Playground.IF THAT PATH IS BLOCKED: continue past the Jefferson School and bear right into the school's playground. Walk around the school until you come to the school's parking lot. Behind the lot is Jefferson playground.
Walk towards the area behind baseball backstop, and up the curving path that leads into the woods. Welcome to Nira Rock!
